This is a charming
nagoya obi with 'manju-giku'( chrysanthemum in steamed bean-jam bun ) and pine needle motif which is added elegantly with kinkoma embroidery.
Textile is soft jinken(rayon) .
The stitch of embroidery on maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) is coming loose as a photo shows. There is a rather strong stain on the motif of otaiko (A) and slight discoloration can be seen all over. Kaikiri line which is also added with kinkoma is coming loose. Please check details with photos and the figure.
This piece's maegara is on only a side. So it may be difficult to wear.
