This is a vintage chuya(reversible) obi with lovely fan shape pattern, which is dyed.
Each of the fans have elegant plants such as ume (plum blossoms), iris, and bamboo.
The black base is gradated about the fans, and it adds fantastical atmosphere.
It's lined with black shusu silk.

Unfortunately, the black base is discolored with age except for the gradated places mentioned above.
Also, there are some snags.
