This is a summer nagoya obi with thistle pattern, which is woven.
Textile is ro , summer sheer silk, and it's rather stiff.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has smudges and stains in the upper part of otaiko (A) , the second flaw photo.
It has slight smudges or small stains at places.
A maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) part also has couple of stains. Another maegara part is OK.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but still charming piece for its wonderful design. It must be an excellent handicraft material or interior decor!
