This is a vintage girl's kimono with a stylish dyed pattern of bamboo stem and 'yukiwa' (snow crystal).
The pretty small flower clusters including kiku (chrysanthemum) are making up the bamboo leaf shapes.
Textile is monkinsha (fine crepe with damask effect), and has exceptionally soft touch.
Shoulder and bodice are folded and sewn, and if you unpick the seam, sleeve to sleeve will be 3.9 in (10cm) longer and bodice will be 8.7 in (22cm) longer.
As the photos and the sheet show, there's a small hole in the left front about the middle.
Also, below the hole, there's a stain, though it's not indicated in the figure.
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it is an old item, it is a lovely piece for its sweet and antique design.
