This is a wonderful summer nagoya obi - hollyhock and 'misu'(bamboo curtain) patterns are woven boldly.
Textile is ro, summer sheer silk and has soft touch.

It is well worn, and has some flaws as photos show.
Both otakiko and maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) parts have prominent stains. There are smudges and discoloration all over.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but still charming piece for its wonderful design. It must be an excellent handicraft material or interior decor!
