This is an elegant white
tsumugi nagoya obi.
Textile is a kind of silk fabric called 'hige-tsumugi' - weft yarns come out like 'hige'(beard).
It's soft and has grainy touch.
Pleasant purple hydrangea pattern is dyed.
It has a signature and a stamp of the dyer.
As the photos and the sheet show, the ivory base is somewhat discolored in whole, but, about the tare end, it's rather prominent.
