This is a vintage haori with top motifs, both big and small, dyed over check patterned background.
Textile is soft rinzu silk wilk with large 'temari'(ball for girls) pattern of damask effect.
Its color combination of the purple check and colorful tops are much unique and not commonly seen around these time.
The design makes you feel of bold Japanese vintage design.
The sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimonos from pre WWII.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
It must have been well worn for smudges are prominent around the sleeve rims, the armholes, the shoulder lines and the bottoms of the sleeves.
There are also some stains including reddish ones shown in the photo E which are rather spread and seem from the lining's red dye.
