This is a vintage summer nagoya obi - bold lily motif is woven with wonderful design.
Textile is ro, summer sheer silk.
Because of its old age, there are stains and sumdges as photos show. White parts of otaiko and maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) parts have smudges and stains, and especially maegara part has some prominent stains and snags.
It also has a pin hole and other flaws as photos show. Please check detail photos.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but still charming piece for its wonderful design. It must be an excellent handicraft material or interior decor!
