This is a
Furisode for brides from mid Showa period (1926-1989).
It has eye-catching 'shou-chiku-bai'( auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom ) pattern, which is dyed boldly. Luxurious embroidery is added at places.
It has 5 kamons (family crests).
The bottom is padded, and it is worn with the bottom trailing along the floor.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
The white areas are discolored, and noticeable smudges can be seen in whole.
It has some other flaws as photos show.
Still, it would be an impressive display in your house.
