This
meisen kimono is from pre WWII, and has charming clematis pattern, which is woven against deep wine red background.
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel).
Textile is silk and jinken(rayon) blend, and has soft touch.
It has some flaws as photos show.
The lapel has rather prominent wear.
This item seems resewn judging from the tiny holes about the armholes, in the back panels and in the sleeves - more than indicated in the figure.
Marked D are spots of irregular weaving.
