This is a vintage nagoya obi with peaceful garden scenery pattern, which is dyed.
Royal people are taking a rest quietly viewing the garden.ŽˇŽˇThis picture is from The Tale of Ise .
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and smooth touch.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
There are some discolored lines above and below the otaiko (square bow) pattern, and also on the belt part.
The otaiko (square bow) pattern has a stain A.
The maegara (front Pattern) has a few brownish stains as well.
Near the tesaki end, there is a seam line.
