This is a fabulous fukusa from ending of Edo period(1603-1868) .
Two large birds are embroidered in the circle shape!
What a unique design and embroidery it is!
Please enjoy detail photos.
Textile has takara and flowers pattern silk and and lined with plain silk.
It has some flaws as photos show. Large part of embroidery of lower bird is missing. (The part must be made of black or dark brown silk yarns.)
It has some other flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
