This is a somewhat transparent summer asa (ramie) kimono.
This piece is Miyako Jofu, one of the most valuable asa kimono - its thin and delicate ramie yarn is hand plied and beautiful and fine geometric pattern is hand woven elaborately.
Textile has soft but crisp touch and neat woven pattern.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
There is a small hole on the back.
However, as a whole, it's in very good condition.
It fits me ( my height is 170cm(5ft 6 7/8in) and medium-built ).
Please try the highest Japanese summer costume!
