This is a wonderful vintage susohiki kimono. Susohiki lieterally means `trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono. This is worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room.
This piece has refreshing tachibana (citrus) pattern, which is dyed with
shibori technique.
Elegant embroidery work is added on parts of the motifs.
Impressive green stripe hakkake is added.
Textile is silk with damask effect(rinzu), and has slightly textured and soft touch.
There are flaws as the photos show.
Discolorations can be seen on white dyed areas, there is somewhat prominet discoloration on pattern on left chest area.
Please see photos for detaials.
Overall, it is in very good condition.
