This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has elegant bridge and flowers motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique. Some parts are added embroidery.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has slight discoloration and a stain.
However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
