This vintage
nagoya obi has 'kikko' (tortoise shell) pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique and runs through the middle.
Textile is silk, and it's soft and smooth.
Due to its old age, it has some flaws.
A few tiny holes can be seen on the tare part.
The stain A isn't much conspicuous, but there is a rather big water stain about 9.8inches from the tare end, and one of the stains on the belt part is rather dark and noticeable.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
However, as a whole, it's still in very good condition for both wear and handicraft.
*Tare part 12.0 in ( 30.5 cm) x 43.3 in ( 110 cm)
Belt part 5.9 in ( 15 cm) x 89.4 in ( 227 cm)
