This is a graceful fukuro obi made by Nagashima, one of the best producers of obis of 'honkin'(genuine gold leaf threads)in Kyoto Nishijin. Please enjoy the beautiful woven patterns of folding fans, peony, flying crane and 'kikko'(tortoise shell) patterns, which are woven elaborately with threads of delicate colors and ones coated with genuine gold leaves. 60% of the right site is covered with these patterns('Rokutsu').
Textile is soft silk. As photos show, it has very weak folding lines, patinas on white threads and some very slight stains. It has uneven woven lines as photo A shows. However they all are very slight and not outstanding. As a whole, it is in very good condition and can be worn formally. Please check details with photos and the figure.
