This is an antique monk's costume.
Textile is thin asa, ramie, which is hand plied and woven elaborately. It has soft and slightly crispy touch.
It is considered to be from Meiji period(1868-1912).
It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
*Bottom part is like hakama, but it is like wrap skirt.
*upper size 66.1 in ( 168 cm) x 29.5 in ( 75 cm)

*bottom size 22.0 in ( 56 cm) x 28.7 in ( 73 cm)
