This is a vintage haori with bamboo-stripe pattern, whose trunks are dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique and leaves are finely embroidered.
The lining has sharp geometric pattern, which is also of
shibori technique.
Textile is silk with damask effect (rinzu) of 'sayagata' (arranged swastika) and chrysanthemum, and it's soft.
The sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimonos from pre WWII.
A pair of matching haori ties is attached.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
Due to its old age, some stains can be seen allover.
As shown in the photo C, some threads of kinkoma embroidery are coming off.
