This is a beautiful vintage maru obi from Meiji period (1868-1912).
Pretty sparrows and grass are woven in subdued colors, and there is another golden pattern of 'kikko' (tortoise shell) with black cranes interrupting here and there.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
One of the edge is somewhat frayed in many places.
