This is an antique maru obi from Meiji period(1868-1912).
This piece is made of soft silk and has unique 'tsukushi'(horsetail) pattern, which is woven elaborately.
Its design is very cute and rare!
End mark stitches are coming off. It has some other flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
*Because of its old age, fabric may not have enough strength. So please use it for interior display or handicraft material.
