This is a vintage summer maru obi with traditional design - bamboo blind and Japanese quince motif are woven with silver or gold coated threads.
Textile is ro, summer sheer silk, and it's soft.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
Warps seem becoming weak and so there are some wefts sticking out (indicated as snags).
However, as a whole, it's in very good condition.
