This is a fabulous fukusa from Meiji period(1868-1912) .
Juroujin ( one of Seven Lucky Gods), deer and crane are designed in a large circle.
They are embroidered elaborately all over.
What a wonderful embroidery it is!
Various embroidery technique used, and textured of deer fur, crane's feather, bear and cloth are portrayed with very skilled touch.

Textile is shusu silk and lined with chirimen silk.
It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
