This is an antique maru obi from Meiji period(1868-1912) .
Fine chrysanthemum, crane, ume blossom and pine tree are woven elaborately.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft and comfortable touch.
Background color is dark brown near black.
Weft yarns are frayed at places('A'). It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
