This is a vintage hand woven kasuri cotton fabric.
It is named 'shosei', which means 'school boys'(its pattern was popular among school boys..
Its pattern is elaborately woven with double ikat technique.
Textile has very soft touch and has beautiful deep ai color.
It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
