This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi.Exotic sarasa-llike 'karakusa' (arabesque) pattern is dyed.
Textile is chirimen(crepe) silk and has soft touch.
There seems to be no conspicuous damage and so it's in excellent condition.
*You need a lining fabric to sew houmongi from this fabric. And sewing houmongi is very difficult, and it is a work for professionals.
