This is a black haori with appealing sideways chrysanthemum pattern, which is woven with urushi or metallic coated threads.
It has a kamon (family crest) and a pair of matching haori ties.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and it's soft.
As the photos and the sheet show, there are some whitish stains here and there.
The lining has discoloration and patinas from its age.
The kamon also has patinas.
However, as a whole, it's in very good condition.
