This is an antique uchikake from Meiji period(1868-1912).
Ume, bamboo and chrysanthemum motifs are dyed elegantly with 'misu'(bamboo curtain).
Textile is rather thin rinzu silk and has check pattern.
Unfortunately it has many holes , stains and smudges. We can't say it is in very good condition, but still charming piece for its wonderful design.
However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
