This is a vintage hitoe(not lined) kinu-chijimi kimono. Textile is woven with very strongly twisted silk yarn, and it has similar touch to asa chijimi - it has textured and crispy touch, which is comfortable in humid Japanese summer season.
This piece has dramatic banana leaf and autumn flowers pattern, which is dyed colorfully.
It has some flaws as photos show. There are stains in the right chest and left front. There also are some holes. We can't say it is in very good condition, but still charming piece for its wonderful design.
