This is a magnificent geisha's susohiki with eye-catching folding fan motif, which is dyed. 'tachibana'( Japanese green citrus ) , chrysanthemum, takara and other various motifs are also dyed colorfully.
It is from pre WWII.
Susohiki literally means 'trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono.
The background black color is slightly discolored, especially on the shoulder lines and also the both side where sleeves are attached.
Because of the old age, it has some flaw but the susohiki is full of charms and classical beauty.
