This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
It has serene pine tree and wave pattern, which is dyed gracefully with gold and silver touch at parts.
Textile is silk with damask effect(rinzu), and has soft and smooth touch.
There are somewhat prominent discolorations as the photos show due to long time storage.
However, it still could be a wonderful material for your handicraft.
