This is a silk bolt for komon kimono.
It has charming fan shape pattern, which is dyed. 'katawaguruma'( wheels of royal cart, which are stored in the stream to avoid drying ) and other motifs are dyed in it.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has some flaws as photos show.The patinas are in one end approx 100cm-40in long part. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
