This black
nagoya obi has impressive chrysanthemum motif, which is painted(not dyed). This technique is called 'pente', which was the replacement of dyeing when people were poor during/just after WWII.
Textile is black shusu silk.
It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
