This vintage haori is from pre WWII period. It has bolt and eye-catching karakusa pattern, which is dyed with shibori technique.
Textile is silk, and it has soft and smooth touch.
It has discolorations and patinas through out as the photos show. However, it still could be an excellent material for your handcraft.
