This is a vintage chuya obi with wonderful design - fan motif is dyed with shibori technique and gorgeous kinkoma embroidery is added. ( Two fan motifs are dyed/embroidered.)
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has some flaws as photos show. The discoloration is slight, but stains in the folding line is prominent. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
