This is a vintage purple haori with elegant design - cherry blossom and peony motifs are dyed in fan pattern, which is dyed with shibori technique.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch. It has bold arabesque pattern.
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has some flaws as photos show, but the discoloration is slight and not disturbing. As a whole it is in very good condition.
