This haori has refined kikko (tortoiseshell) motif, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is silk, and it has rough and soft touch.
Matching haori ties are attached, but they have some patinas.
There are many stains in places, and there are also several stains on the front side of the left sleeve and the back side of the right sleeve(not shown in the figure). It has some other flaws as the figure and photos show.
Still it will be a good material for your handicraft.
