This is an antique irotomesode from around Meiji period(1868-1912) .
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft and comfortable touch.
It ha wonderful bird pattern, which is elaborately embroidered with thin threads!
The size of bird is approx 3cm-1.2in, and 36 birds are embroidered.
It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
