This is a fabulous maru obi from around Taisho period(1912-1926) . Blue and green stripe is dyed, and cute 'sarubobo'¼£¼£motif is embroidered.
In the end part, check pattern is dyed and paper ribbon motif is embroidered.
Its design is simple but very stylish and cool when it is tied on kimono.
Textile is sioze silk.
It has some flaws as photos show, but they are slight or small and not disturbing. As a whole it is in very good condition and can be worn.
