This nagoya obi is made of shusu silk, and has very unique design - hsien is enjoying fishing and in the narrow part, fish basket is dyed.
This piece has unique figures picture in the wrong side of the wide part(tare part), and similar figure picture is also dyed in the wrong side of narrow part.
It must imply a scene from Gigaku Play.
It has some flaws as photos show. In addition, this piece has some very small uneven spots of weaving. However, they are slight or small and not disturbing. As a whole it is in very good condition and beautiful piece. ('Patinas' in the end of wide part is not patina, but brown part, which seemed to be dyed intendedly.)
