This black
nagoya obi has elegant thistle motifs which are painted(not dyed). This technique is called 'pente', which was the replacement of dyeing when people were poor during/just after WWII.
This piece's picture is cute.
Textile is shusu silk.
It has slight flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
