This is an incredible haori from around Taisho period(1912-1925).
Shishi and
tsuzumi motifs are dyed with very artistic touch. Its design is dynamic and vivid! In addition, many parts are added elaborate embroidery work. Please check its incredible details and dynamic dyeing touch!
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft touch.
It has some flaws as photos show. However, they are not disturbing. As a whole it is in very good condition and BEAUTIFUL piece!
Museum class one.
