This is a fabulous yellow haori from around Taisho period(1912-1925).
It has elegant ume blossom and fan motifs, which are dyed colorfully in the vivid yellow background. In addition, very elaborate and delicate embroidery work is added all over it. Please check its wonderful dyeing and embroidery details with more photos.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft touch.
Sleeves and bodice are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has some flaws as photos show, but they are not so disturbing and as a whole it is in very good condition.
