This is a rare asa katazome fabric from pre WWII.
It has exotic tortoise and tachibana(Japanese green citrus) pattern, which is dyed with katazome technique.
Textile is thin asa, which is elaborately hand plied and woven. It is thin and delicate, but has crispy touch.
It has some flaws as photos show( side part is removed partly), but as a whole it is in very good condition.
