This piece was used as obi lining. It is very old - it is from late Edo Period( 1603-1867).
It is made of 4 fabrics, and there are three kinds of katazome dyed pattern.
Textiles are cotton, which had to be hand spun and hand woven. ai is also natural one, and well well worn.
Katazome patterns are also wonderful! Please check detail photos.
It has holes and stains ,but we strongly recommend this wonderful antique fabric!
