This is a sakiori hanhaba obi. Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
This piece has beautiful green stripe pattern.
It has a slight folding line. As a whole it is nearly in excellent condition.
