This is a graceful susohiki kimono from mid Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
Susohiki lieterally means `trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono and the bottom is padded. This is worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room.
This piece has elegant cloud and flowers pattern, which is dyed.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has soft touch.
It has some flaws as photos show. Gold line parts are peeled at places. Stain in the left sleeve is large, but it is not prominently seen for its darker color. As a whole it is in very good condition.
