This is a sakiori fabric( both ends are sewn, but it seems to be too short for obi).
Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
This piece has exceptionally beautiful stripe pattern and soft touch.
It is in excellent condition.
