This is a wonderful furoshiki from around early Meiji period(1868-1912).
It is made of comparatively thick cotton, which seemed to be hand spun and hand woven. It has very soft and comfortable touch.
It is dyed with natural ai and beautiful ai color!
Sashiko stitches are added in the corners elaborately.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
