This is a vintage fukusa with dramatic standing crane and 'shou-chiku-bai'(pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) motifs, which are dyed elegantly.
Delicate embroidery is added at places.
In the wrong side, it also has unique crane/tortoise/wave pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has patinas at places. Three tassels are missing. It has some other flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
